An SMK Day Ticket gives you access to the entire museum, all exhibitions, and current free events on the day of your visit. The ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within that period.

When you redeem the day ticket at the museum, you will receive a sticker, which must be placed visibly on your upper body. Your ticket is then valid for the rest of the day.

A day ticket can be upgraded to an annual pass on the day of your visit, and the price of the day ticket will be deducted from the cost of the annual pass. Please contact the Information Desk if you wish to upgrade to an annual pass.

Children under the age of 18 have free admission to the museum and do not need a ticket.

Note: A day ticket to SMK is valid for SMK in Copenhagen and does not provide access to SMK Thy. Tickets for SMK Thy can be purchased online here or on site at SMK Thy when you arrive at the location.

Order confirmation and tickets are send via e-mail

When you have completed your purchase you will receive an order confirmation and a separate e-mail with a link to your ticket. You may experience a short delay but if you have not received the e-mail with your ticket within approximately 5 minutes, please check your SPAM filter.

If you do not receive either order confirmation or e-mail with your ticket you can reach out to us via [email protected] or ask for assistance at the information desk at the museum.

Please include/bring your order no. and date/time of purchase to make it easier for us to help you. If your purchase was completed online we should be able to find your ticket in our systems.
