Practical information about the SMK Annual Pass
Is the pass valid from the date of purchase?
Yes, the annual pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It is not tied to a specific calendar year. If you’re buying the pass as a gift, it becomes valid only when the recipient registers it – not from the purchase date.
Expiry date
To reduce plastic waste, the expiry date is not printed on the card itself. You can always log in to your membership profile in our webshop to check the expiry date and other details.
Annual pass on your smartphone
Instead of showing a physical card, you can download your annual pass to your phone’s digital wallet – whether you use Android or iPhone – directly from your membership profile in the webshop.
Want to exchange your admission ticket for an annual pass?
Admission tickets can be refunded if you buy an annual pass on the same day.
Returns and complaints
You have 14 days to return your pass. However, the right of return is void as soon as the pass is used.
Can I buy an annual pass as a gift?
Yes – you can buy a gift pass here or at the Information Desk at the museum.
Important information about your SMK Annual Pass
Online access to your membership
All pass holders have an online membership profile. If you bought your pass online, your profile was created during the checkout process. Log in to the webshop using the email and password you provided.
If you bought your pass at the museum, activate your online profile by going to “Log in” on the webshop and selecting “Forgotten password”. Enter the email you gave at the Information Desk and you’ll receive a link to create your password.
Renew and get one month free
Renew your pass before it expires and get one month free – that’s 13 months instead of 12.

Can I lend my annual pass to someone else?
No – the annual pass is personal and non-transferable.
